What would we be without our friends? Without these people we met at kindergarten, school, university, while travelling, on parties or just by walking on the streets asking for direction. While I am sitting here in a little hostel room, wondering for which flats to apply, it's my friends who make me feel at home picking me up after a very disappointing day and giving me a preptalk for the following one. At this point, I should probably also mention the internet, which, in a world, where you can travel from one side of the globe to the other in just one day and have all this beautiful moments, makes it possible to build up a friendship and be with each other, sharing pictures, music, stories... lifes.
And you know, you have the meetings which are like butterflies passing by. You feel happy for a moment. It puts a smile on your face. And then the moment is gone. But then you have these encounters, where you just feel that it could be the start of something really special. Someone you can share your heart with. Share memories, the good ones and the bad ones.
And sitting here, all by myself, I feel so very lucky to have met some people who are, no matter how far they are away, always with me and follow me through my life as I follow them through theirs. Like little butterflies. Putting a smile on my face and reminding me that there are things to be happy about. And due to one really special friend, I chose this quote to headline this post <3
